No damage was recorded outside the landfill in the Kirovsky district of Crimea

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov spoke about the situation in the Kirovsky district of Crimea, where a military training ground is on fire and ammunition explosions continue.

The final causes of the emergency have not yet been named. According to Konstantinov, specialized specialists are engaged in analyzing the causes of the fire and assessing the consequences.

An operational headquarters has been formed in Crimea under the leadership of the Head of the Republic, Sergei Aksyonov. Volunteers are on site. The situation is dynamic. For the moment, everything is under control. Residents are being evacuated from four villages, more than two thousand people. This solution is for reinsurance. For cars, a detour has been formed from the Tavrida highway. It is a little longer but comfortable.— said Konstantinov.

Explosions are still heard at the test site. It’s too early to talk definitively about the consequences. But, the head of the Parliament of the Republic assured, Crimea has experience in dealing with such situations. So far, no damage has been recorded outside the landfill.

Note that Konstantinov did not comment on the topic of «arrivals» or the work of air defense in the Crimea. However, he pointed out that Ukraine «does everything to shake up the situation inside the Crimea«.

But they cannot understand that it all works in the opposite direction. We have been withstanding their provocations since 2014— said the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
