Non-profit sports organizations of Yalta received support from the city

According to the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, based on the results of the competition, they will be divided between the Federations of basketball, boxing, acrobatic rock and roll, sports acrobatics, swimming, orienteering, and volleyball. Almost 4.8 million rubles were allocated from the municipal budget to support non-profit sports organizations.

The practice was introduced three years ago, and we are gradually increasing the amount (last year 2 million were allocated). The commission evaluates the competitors according to several criteria — the time of the activity, the number of athletes who took part in the competitions and the starts held in Yalta, as well as the presence of candidates or members of the Crimean national team, the number of prize places. I am sure that such support will only be for the good,” the press service quotes Yanina Pavlenko.

Subsidies are used for holding and participating in competitions at various levels, as well as for participation in educational and training events held in our country. Funding is targeted and cannot be used for other needs.
