Nordic walking classes are being held in Sevastopol — “Brisk Step”

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Free Nordic walking classes “Brisk Step” started in Sevastopol on April 7 and will last until October 27.

Active citizens and guests of Belokamenny are already accustomed to citywide exercises, but not everyone knows that we also have Nordic (Scandinavian) walking classes “Brisk Step” in Sevastopol. A qualified instructor will share his knowledge and experience, explain the correct methods of performing exercises, and help you feel, understand, master and consolidate your results. Come! Exercise! Be healthy! – the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the Sevastopol sports department Sergei Reznichenko.

The program is aimed at mastering the skills of proper walking technique, which preserves and improves health. Nordic walking has gained great popularity throughout the world in recent years. This type of health-improving physical education is suitable for people of any age and gender. During Nordic walking, about 90% of the body’s muscles are used, which means more energy is burned, which helps train the heart muscle and lose weight.

Anyone can join Nordic walking classes until October 27. Training takes place every Friday in the Park of the 60th Anniversary of the USSR near the training ground, as well as on Sunday in the territory of Victory Park, near the Order of Victory fountain. Classes start at 8:00.

If necessary, those wishing to take part in training are provided with Scandinavian poles (the number of poles is limited).

The event takes place within the framework of the regional project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”.
