On September 2, the municipal open festival of northern walking «Autumn Promenade» will be held in Yalta. Guests and residents of the resort capital of Crimea are invited to take part in this massive physical culture event. The allowed age of participants is from 8 to 100 years. According to the organizers, the participants will be provided with equipment, and before the start of the festival they will conduct a master class on the technique of Nordic walking. The main distance for everyone who wants to try their hand is 1200 meters. Participants will pass the route under the guidance of instructors. The most prepared northern walkers will walk 2,000 meters as part of the festival. Children from the age of 8 can also take part — a distance of 400 meters has been prepared for them.
