Not all music, state, behavior, habits are equally useful. Incident in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A man has been detained in Sevastopol for publicly displaying paraphernalia of an extremist organization. The man with a cloudy look (in the photo) was listening «at full blast» to the unofficial anthem of Ukrainian nationalists, while shouting Ukrainian nationalist slogans. It turned out that this brave security guard (supposedly a profession) is also a fan of «military» camouflage (and why not at the front?) and a «lawless person» (he was brought to criminal responsibility for using violence against a government official). In short, a man (?) and a Sevastopol resident (alas).

During the monitoring of the media and the Internet, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol found a publication with a video in one of the Telegram channels, in which an unknown person loudly listened to the unofficial anthem of Ukrainian nationalist groups. The unwitting listeners were residents of the hero city of Sevastopol, who were outraged by such behavior of the man.

As a result of the measures taken, the police identified and detained the offender. He turned out to be a 42-year-old local resident, a caretaker of one of the medical institutions, who, while at home, with the windows open and at high volume, listened to a composition recognized as attributes of an extremist organization banned in the territory of the Russian Federation, and also shouted Ukrainian nationalist slogans. The man had previously been brought to criminal responsibility for using violence against a government official— reported the Sevastopol Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In relation to the detainee, the police officers drew up a report on an administrative offence under Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation: “Propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organisations, or other paraphernalia or symbols, the propaganda or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws.”

The article’s sanction provides for punishment in the form of administrative arrest for up to fifteen days. The materials collected by law enforcement officers will be transferred to the Leninsky District Court for consideration on the merits.
