Not every vessel will be allowed to pass under the arch of the Crimean bridge. FSB information
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Why the Turkish cargo ship was not allowed into the Kerch Strait.
Traces of explosives were found on board a bulk carrier en route from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don for grain. This was reported by the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia. Accordingly, the ship was not allowed into the Kerch Strait, having deployed to Turkey.
What turned out? During the inspection, traces of two substances were found in the hold of the dry cargo ship — dinitrotoluene and tetryl. The incident took place on July 22.
Signs of third-party interference in the structural parts of the dry cargo ship were also revealed.the DSP said in a statement.
The FSB noted that at the end of May the ship was in the Ukrainian port of Kiliya. In July, the dry cargo ship was in the Turkish port of Tuzla — at that moment the crew (12 citizens of Ukraine) and the name of the vessel changed.
The FSB believes that these facts «may indicate the possibility of using a foreign civil vessel to deliver explosives to the territory of Ukraine«.
As a result, the dry cargo ship was banned from passing under the navigable arch of the bridge across the Kerch Strait.
A decision was made to ban the passage of a foreign ship through the Kerch Strait with its further departure outside the territorial sea of the Russian Federation— clarified in the TsOS FSB.
