Notary services will become cheaper in Sevastopol

Notary services will become cheaper in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Last week, the Federal Chamber of Notaries announced the approval of the maximum regional tariff for the constituent entities of Russia and the establishment by the Order of the Ministry of Justice of the range of benefits provided by notaries. As explained in the Notary Chamber of the city of Sevastopol, the entire list of benefits specified in the Order was previously provided by notaries of the city. Let us remind you that in Sevastopol:

  • Veterans and disabled people of the Second World War, as well as orphans and disabled children staying in orphanages and boarding schools, are completely exempt from charging fees for notary services for any type of notarial acts;
  • A 100% benefit is provided to minors when certifying a transaction for the alienation of their real estate, as well as when concluding an agreement to determine the size of shares in housing purchased using maternal capital funds;
  • A 50% benefit is provided to disabled people of group I and disabled children;
  • People moving from emergency housing within the framework of state, regional and municipal programs are exempted for half the cost of notary services for completing a transaction.

In addition, significant assistance in the form of complete exemption from paying notary services for a number of notarial actions in Sevastopol is provided to mobilized citizens, participants of the SVO and members of their families. This decision was made by the city notaries on their own initiative. Evidence of how much the benefit is in demand is provided by statistical data provided at the notary chamber. Thus, in the first half of 2023 alone, 290 notarial acts were performed free of charge for mobilized citizens, SVO participants and members of their families, for more than 200 people, for a total amount of more than 600 thousand rubles.

Regarding the expected reduction in regional tariffs for the services of notaries in the city, the notary chamber explained that the corresponding decision will be made in Sevastopol by the end of this week. However, it is already known that significant changes in the cost of most types of notarial actions should not be expected, since city notaries, in recent years, have set notarial tariffs below the limits that were in force before the introduction of the regional tariff and today they are less than the established regional tariff. But for certain types of notarial acts, the cost will certainly decrease.
