The Alushta court issued a verdict in a criminal case against a local resident. The man was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (threat of murder).

The court found that in November 2023, during a conflict that arose on domestic grounds, the convict grabbed his wife by the hair and, holding scissors to the victim’s throat and stomach, made death threats. The criminal acts were stopped only after the seven-year-old daughter saw what was happening and asked her father to stop.— said the prosecutor’s office.

The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 300 hours of compulsory labor. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
