This year’s meteor shower peaks around the full moon, so comets will be heavily illuminated by moonlight,” noted researcher at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory Sergei Nazarov.
As the scientist explained, the Moon will interfere with observing the cosmic phenomenon. In order to better see the celestial bodies, the expert advised to go outside the city. According to him, this will avoid light exposure of the sky.
