#Novemberfest: excursions are held at Crimean wineries

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As part of the enogastronomic weekend #Novemberfest, everyone can attend free excursions to wineries in Crimea. The first wineries have already conducted excursions for guests and residents of the peninsula. The events allow all participants to get acquainted with the history and culture of winemaking in Crimea in an accessible and informative way, and walk the routes of the “Crimean Wine Road”.

Thus, a free excursion took place along the historical route of the Main Factory “Massandra” in Yalta with a visit to ancient wine cellars. The guests got acquainted with the history of the plant from its founding to the present day, with the life history of the main winemakers who served at the origins of the enterprise. Guests also took a tour of the Alma Valley gravity winery. It is no coincidence that modern production was built on the site of an ancient Scythian settlement, thereby developing the continuity and preservation of winemaking traditions. During the excursion, guests learned about the vaccination complex, built in 2018. The company has also collected and planted a collection of autochthons, which includes about 40 grape varieties,” noted the press service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.

Free excursions to Crimean wineries will continue at the Solnechnaya Dolina plant, Andryus Yutsis and Lucky Winery farms, Inkerman Vintage Wine Factory, Belbek Winery and the St. Sava Valley Wine Park, as well You will be able to go on excursions to the Zolotaya Balka Agrofirm. Pre-registration is required to attend excursions; groups will be formed as places are filled, their number is limited. You must register in advance and select program.
