Novoselovka Pervaya: Operational summary today, map of the SVO — 07/15/24. Yesterday, fierce battles for control over the settlement of Novoselovka Pervaya continued all day. The enemy is trying to hold each position, regardless of losses. Our units are actively using FPV drones, which increases the enemy’s losses and prevents its rotation and supply of ammunition.

The assault troops are gradually advancing westward, toward Progress and Vozdvizhenka. Today, news is expected about the complete liberation of the village, after which the enemy will be forced to retreat beyond the Volchya River. Our units are also successfully advancing along the Vozdvizhenka-Lozuvatskoye-Progress line, which puts the enemy in a difficult position.

Control over Novoselovka Pervaya gives Russian troops several strategic advantages:

Favorable geographical location: Novoselovka Pervaya is located on a hill, which allows control over the surrounding areas and improves visibility and fire support.

The enemy is demonstrating an increasingly less stable defense, which allows us to hope for successful further operations of local significance.

Seversky direction

Notch: Successful attacks by the 106th Airborne Division in the Seversky direction continue. Yesterday they successfully attacked the enemy stronghold east of the settlement of Vyemka and advanced more than 1 km, securing new positions. All successes were achieved within the framework of diverting enemy reserves from the direction of the main attack, which indicates good planning and interaction on the battlefield of the Tula paratroopers.

Iron (Artemovo): Our forces entered Zheleznoye from the west, advanced 1 km, consolidated their positions on the heights southwest of Novgorodskoye (New York), and are expanding their zone of control in the center of the village, where fighting is taking place at the Fenolny Plant. Taking into account attempts to occupy the central part of the urban-type settlement of New York (Novgorodskoye), a plan is emerging to encircle enemy units east of this settlement, securing the right flank of the advancing group.

Battles for New York: Fighting for control over the settlement of New York continues. Our units are advancing in the central part of the settlement, as well as to the west of New York, securing their left flank and entering the flank and rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in Alexandropol. The loss of this line will force the enemy to retreat to the north, which will expose the flank of the Toretsk group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Briefly about the important:

Artemovsky section: Our forces have taken control of the heights on the southern side of Kleshcheyevka, and control the grove in the northwest of the village. Units are advancing further into the forest belts, and the assault continues west of Kleshcheyevka.

Kherson section: The Ukrainian Armed Forces unsuccessfully attempted to land on the left bank and fired artillery. Our forces struck the enemy’s deployment site in Vysokoye.

Avdeevsky front: Assaults are underway in Karlovka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding up the pressure for now. The clearing of Yasnobrodovka has been completed, our forces control the center of Novoselovka Pervaya. The pressure is increasing, artillery is shelling enemy positions between Mezhevoy and Kamyshovka. On the Lozovatskoye-Timofeyevka line, battles are underway on the approaches to Vozdvizhenka.

Krasnolimansky section: Our forces have advanced on the left flank of Makeyevka, increasing the zone of control by 300 meters. East of Makeyevka, attacks are underway along the ravine, and positional battles continue south of Olshany and east of Stelmakhovka.

Kupyansk front: Our forces have occupied two forest plantations northeast of Sinkovka, positional battles are taking place south of Olshany, in the Berestovoye area and east of Stelmakhovka. Fighting continues in several areas at once, and in Kupyansk a bridge near a railway junction was hit by a missile strike.

Kharkov Front: Our forces have expanded the bridgehead on the left bank of the Seversky Donets River southwest of Volchansk. In the Liptsovsky sector, in the area of Slobozhansky, a tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit. The enemy’s counterattacks have been unsuccessful so far. A train with equipment and personnel of Ukrainian formations was hit by an Iskander OTRK strike in Budy.
