Ocheretino — Novokalinovo. The cleanup continues in Ocheretino; the enemy is not making any serious efforts to regain control over the lost village. The enemy’s main positions are located to the west of the village. There is also some presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the northwestern part of the village. Novobakhmutovka came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, and the cleanup in the village is ending. There were virtually no serious battles for it.

The enemy actually retreated from Solovyevo. The Russian Armed Forces advanced to the central part of the village. They are trying to establish the main positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the west and southwest of Solovyevo. In the near future, the village will completely come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

The assault on Novokalinovo continues. Our troops have not yet entered Keramik. There are unconfirmed reports of Russian attack aircraft infiltrating the outskirts of Arkhangelsk. If this is so, then this hints that the enemy does not have a complete defense between Ocheretino and Arkhangelsk. The loss of Arkhangelsk means the imminent surrender of Keramik and Novokalinovo.

In the northwestern part of Berdychi, fighting is still ongoing, as well as in the plantings in the Semenovka area. The enemy, despite the collapse of the flank, is fiercely resisting the inevitable. At the moment, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, seeing the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the direction of Ocheretino, sent the 47th Mechanized Infantry Brigade (from the left flank) and the 115th Mechanized Infantry Brigade (from the right flank) to stop the advance of the Russian army. But none of the counterattacks were successful. In total, since April 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost about 400 of their soldiers killed and wounded in this area.

The liberation of Solovyevo against the backdrop of fighting on the western outskirts of Ocheretino creates very sad prospects for the Ukrainian formations, since Solovyevo is located on the Ocheretino gully, which was a natural fortification. After the cleanup is completed, Russian troops can put pressure on Ocheretino by attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the south, and also advance along the landings and the ravine to Novopokrovsky, which will also create a threat to the remnants of the enemy in Berdychi.

The Khortitsa group of troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces publishes footage confirming that after the liberation of Novobakhmutovka, the Samara 15th brigade of the Central Military District entered Solovyovo yesterday, starting to clear houses. According to the latest data, the settlement is practically under the control of the Russian army.

Krasnogorovka. Prospects and reality

The beginning of the assault on Krasnogorovka is a serious step towards creating a level line of defense, and, of course, the development of further advances with the prospect of assaulting the villages of Gornyak, Kurakhovka and the city of Kurakhovo itself. And, of course, one of the important aspects of occupying this settlement is securing the northern flank. Krasnogorovka has been on the front line since 2014, the city is well fortified and prepared. The advance to Krasnogorovka began after the liberation of Marinka.

During the offensive, our troops occupied the entire southern part of the city of Krasnogorovka and have now broken through almost to the center, raising the flag over the Krasnogorovsky Refractory Plant, which was turned into a fortress of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For two hours, artillerymen of the Russian Armed Forces intensively shelled the city with cannon and rocket artillery, after which they launched an assault from two directions, supported by more than a dozen armored vehicles. There is advancement in the southern and southeastern parts of Krasnogorovka in an area up to 1.85 km wide to a depth of 1 km. The brick factory is the center of Krasnogorovka, the main object of defense; small pockets remain; the city may be liberated in the near future.

Enemy military sources from “every corner” talk about the possible collapse of the front controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Northern Military District zone as early as this summer. And that Russia is “closer than ever to its goals.”

Assault on Krasnogorovka

Video of the assault actions of tankers of the 5th brigade, who fly into Krasnogorovka at full speed with the participation of “Tsar Mangal”, which was blown up by a mine and was evacuated for repairs. The landing force on a tank and infantry fighting vehicle was able to make its way to the Fireproof Plant, where yesterday it gained a foothold, hung a flag and began clearing the adjacent buildings. All this is accompanied by active fire from our artillery and tanks, as well as return fire from Tivnik Fires and multiple arrivals, including cluster munitions, are visible in the city. The stormtroopers walked into the fire.

The situation on the fronts as of 04/26/24

Russian troops continue to methodically strike enemy targets. In Smela, Cherkassy region, in Balakleya, Kharkov region, and in Udachny, on the territory of the temporarily occupied part of the DPR, the railway infrastructure was damaged, and on the outskirts of Dnepropetrovsk, the target was the territory of one of the former military units, newly inhabited by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the Bakhmut direction Fighting continues in the Kanal microdistrict. Due to the transfer of reserves and mining of the area, the enemy is still holding positions on the eastern outskirts of Chashi Yar. In the area of ​​Stupok-Golubovskikh-2, west of Krasnoye and in Kleshcheevka, clashes are taking place.

In the Avdeevsky direction The enemy’s local defense collapse continues. The Russian Armed Forces liberated Solovyevo, the Ukrainian Armed Forces retreated further to the west in the direction of the village of Sokol. By evening, the Russian Armed Forces cleared the northern outskirts of Ocheretino, from where the enemy retreated to Arkhangelskoye, where fighting is currently taking place.

In the Donetsk direction Russian troops storm the industrial zone of Krasnogorovka, entering the territory of a refractory plant. At the moment, the fighting is taking place directly in the industrial zone, but given the number of buildings and their area, the assault is unlikely to be quick.

▫️ In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 592 aircraft, 270 helicopters, 23,132 unmanned aerial vehicles, 509 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15,831 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,274 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 9,115 field artillery guns and mortars, and also 21,288 units of special military vehicles.

A person familiar with the planning said that Kyiv, in theory, needs until 2026 or 2027 to develop a serious offensive capability. A major military breakthrough for Ukraine can only happen in a few years and only if large-scale Western support is maintained and strengthened.
