October 1 is International Day of Older Persons. TOP 5 electronic services of SFR among elderly Sevastopol residents

The Sevastopol branch of the Social Fund provides 44 public services to city residents, within which 116 electronic services have been created, covering almost all areas of the SFR’s activities.

On the eve of the International Day of Older Persons, we remind you of the most popular and convenient electronic services that citizens of retirement age can use remotely. The most popular among pensioners in our city are traditionally the establishment of pensions and payments for the care of elderly citizens over 80 years of age. This year, 7.8 thousand such applications were submitted electronically. Selecting a method for receiving a pension — the service allows you to change the method of receiving a pension (to a bank card, account or through a post office) or transfer new details to the fund. Certificate of pension amount and SFR payments — this certificate confirms the pensioner’s income and contains information about the pension and other payments at the time of the request. Such a certificate may be useful for checking the size of the pension after its indexation or increase. Information about assigned social payments and benefits — the statement reflects established pensions, benefits, social payments, compensation, subsidies and other benefits, as well as their amounts and terms of appointment.

Certificate about the amount of pension and payments from the SFR for a certain period — this certificate contains information about the assigned pension and other additional payments received by the citizen over the last year from the SFR.

The regional Branch of the Fund provides many services in a proactive manner. This means that you do not need to submit applications or provide documents to obtain them. For example, disability pensions and social benefits are issued without an application. From 2024, it is planned to assign a rural supplement and a survivor’s pension in the same non-declaration format.

For your information, in Sevastopol, more than 113.3 thousand people receive pensions through the Social Fund, of which over 99.4 thousand are recipients of old-age insurance pensions. Among our pensioners there are also long-livers: between the ages of 80 and 100 there are 14.8 thousand Sevastopol residents; 8 people live in the city who have crossed the century mark.
