Office of Rosreestr in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol — «Roads of the Great Patriotic War …»
Krympress reports:
In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Rosreestr Office in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol organized a geodetic quest “Roads of the Great Patriotic War” for students of Sevastopol State University.
Students on the exact coordinates found envelopes with tasks and answered questions about the Great Patriotic War, listened to songs and made the main word-key from the answers. The last task was to find a geodetic item that hid at the highest point in Mount Cat (254 meters above sea level). In the days of the war, geodetic points helped control artillery fire, and the network of supporting geodetic points helped artillery topographs in reference to these points of combat order — batteries, guns, and observation points. The winner of the quest was Irina Shinkarev, who answered almost all the questions, congratulations on her on the victory! -They note in the press service of the department.
