Official: a new form of identification and warrant for a lawyer is being introduced

From October 20, 2024, a new form of lawyer identification will be established. The procedure for filling out the form and certifying a lawyer’s photograph has been approved.
Federal Law No. 83-FZ dated April 22, 2024 “On Amendments to the Federal Law “On Advocacy and the Bar in the Russian Federation” has been implemented.
A similar order of the Ministry of Justice dated October 5, 2016 N 223 will no longer be in force.
Order of the Ministry of Justice of Russia dated 09/23/2024 N 282 “On approval of the form of the order, requirements for its completion and execution” Registered with the Ministry of Justice of Russia 09/26/2024 N 79589.
The Ministry of Justice has approved an updated form of a lawyer’s order
The document also establishes requirements for filling out and issuing an order.
This order comes into force on October 20, 2024. Order of the Ministry of Justice dated April 10, 2013 No. 47 “On approval of the form of the warrant” is declared invalid.
