CrimeaPRESS reports:
In 2023, participants in the free economic zone (FEZ) in Crimea actually invested more than 100 billion rubles in investments. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
At the end of last year, FEZ participants made investments 2.5 times more than in 2022 — 40.2 billion rubles, including capital investments — more than 70 billion rubles, which is 3 times more than in 2022. Also, according to reports, more than 8.7 thousand jobs were created— said Irina Kiviko.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, doing business in a free economic zone allows business entities to develop, create and preserve jobs during the period of restrictive measures. In addition, there is a positive trend in revenue and income tax receipts. This indicates a revival of economic activity and an increase in the production of goods and services.
