Pensions in Russia will be indexed to the level of inflation from January 2025. This was stated on October 7 by the head of the Ministry of Finance, Anton Siluanov, speaking at a hearing on the three-year budget in the Federation Council. As the minister noted, indexation applies to payments to both working and non-working pensioners. According to the forecast of the Ministry of Finance, inflation at the end of this year should be 7.3 percent, reports RIA Novosti.
As Parlamentskaya Gazeta wrote earlier, from January the size of the old-age insurance pension will increase to 25.1 thousand rubles. Now it is 23.4 thousand rubles.
