Official: Sevastopol is 97% ready for the heating season

During a staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the city’s readiness for the 2024-2025 heating season was discussed. Deputy Director of the Department of Municipal Economy Nikolai Bitosov said that the city is 97% ready for the heating season.

Sevteploenergo supplies heat to 4,000 city facilities. Current and major repairs of Sevteploenergo enterprises in preparation for the heating season have been completed 100%. The company also ensured the formation of approved regulatory fuel reserves in a timely manner, – the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy director of the relevant department.

In addition, resource supply organizations have provided 39 brigades and 52 units of equipment to promptly respond to emergencies. All socially significant facilities in Sevastopol are provided with backup power sources in full.
