The goal is to reduce train travel time from Moscow to the Black Sea coast to 16 hourssaid Vladimir Putin.
In addition, the President focused on the task of modernizing the road network, including mentioning the need to build exits from the Tavrida highway to the coast and further development of the so-called Azov Ring — a road around the Azov Sea, which has become internal to Russia.
Speaking about the tourism potential of the South of Russia, Vladimir Putin recalled that the Azov and Black Seas are traditional holiday destinations loved by millions of Russian citizens, and tourism is one of the key sectors of the economy of the entire region.

The result was achieved thanks to budget investments in the social, utilities and road infrastructure of the peninsula, as well as in the energy sector. Thus, currently more than 1.5 thousand investment projects are being implemented in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
