Officially: the Massandrovsky park-monument of landscape gardening art is undergoing major renovations

In the Massandrovsky park-monument of landscape gardening art, work has begun on major repairs (improvement) of the territory. This was reported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Crimea. The work is being carried out within the framework of the State program “Reforming the housing and communal services of the Republic of Crimea”.

The park is a specially protected natural area of ​​regional significance of the Republic of Crimea, is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Crimea and under the management of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Management of Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Republic of Crimea”.

The work will take place within the boundaries of the existing road and path network without demolition of green spaces. The park will undergo a major overhaul of stairs, retaining walls, the entrance area, as well as storm drainage and outdoor lighting. The work is aimed at creating comfortable conditions for visitors to the park.,” the ministry clarified.

Please note that the work is being carried out using construction equipment; therefore, visits to the park are limited until November 5, 2024.
