Officially: the territory of the Maksimova Dacha Natural Park is being constantly maintained
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Maksimova Dacha Natural Park is a specially protected natural area, its area is more than 80 hectares. The Government of Sevastopol assures that the directorate of protected areas regularly conducts work on quarantine disinfection in order to ensure the safety of citizens in this territory. In particular, these are phytosanitary, larvicidal and acaricidal treatments. In June, dead wood — ash, mulberry — was cleared here. These activities were accompanied by pruning of branches, today these branches were taken out for recycling.
To date, the first stages of phytosanitary, larvicidal and acaricidal treatments have been carried out. Acaricidal treatment is a treatment for tick-borne encephalitis, phytosanitary treatment of plants from an American butterfly, larvicidal treatment from blood-sucking insects. Additionally, we carry out sanitary cleaning, pruning, and measures for the disposal of logging residues. The goal is to prevent the spread of pests or tree diseases. The whole complex of works within the framework of the maintenance of the territory is carried out constantly— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the department for ensuring environmental work of the Directorate of Protected Areas and Forestry Alexander Trach.
According to Alexander Trach, the specialists of the Directorate systematically clean the water bodies located in this territory from branches, foliage and algae. These works, as well as grass mowing, are carried out regularly throughout the year — every month. Similar work is being carried out in parallel on the territory of the Ushakova Balka Natural Park.
