Officials were detained in Yalta — they suspect bribery

Employees of the UEBIPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea, in collaboration with the Main Investigative Committee of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, with the power support of the regional Russian Guard, were detained by officials of the municipal enterprise of the city of Yalta, who received a bribe in an especially large scale.
The money was transmitted twice by the entrepreneur, to whom officials contributed to the conclusion of the contract for the improvement of the territory and the maintenance of the road network of the resort city. In the total amount, representatives of the municipality received 2 million 730 thousand rubles.
It was established that in November last year, the 44-year-old director of the municipal budget education and its 38-year-old deputy by prior conspiracy to illegally enrich the roles in accordance with their official powers.
The director assisted in the unhindered passage of the competition by a contracting company, preparing all the necessary documents for the conclusion of the contract.
In turn, the Deputy Director signed the acts of control of the work performed, in fact, without carrying out a commission verification of the contracts executed by the contractor during the activities for the improvement and cleaning of the territories.
In addition, officials ordered the entrepreneur to transfer 50 % of the profit received under the municipal contract.
The materials collected by police were transferred to the bodies of the Investigative Committee.
