Oksana Shevchenko — a defendant of the case of attempt on the head of the Crimea — pleaded guilty
Krympress reports:
In February 2025, criminal cases against Vladimir Ananyev, Vladimir Bodnar and Oksana Shevchenko on the preparation of an assassination attempt on Aksenova entered the Southern District Military Court. On March 31, the first hearing was held on Bodnar, where he fully pleaded guilty, on April 8, the court will also begin to listen to the case against Ananyev.
I find the guilt completely— said the defendant, answering the judge’s question about the guilty of guilt of the charges.
According to investigators, in February 2022, a citizen of Ukraine, a criminal case against whom he was allocated in a separate proceeding, created an organized group to commit a terrorist attack in Crimea. The group included Bodnar and Shevchenko. They had to observe the routes and the movement of Aksenov’s official car to prepare and make an attempt on it. Later, Ananiev was recruited into the group.
From the Zaporizhzhya region, Bodnar transported a radio -controlled improvised explosive device, a transmitter and receiver, which were planned to be used for the explosion of the official car of the head of the Crimea. The defendants were hidden in the explosives in the previously leased Shevchenko garage box in Simferopol. They watched the route of the Aksenov movement with the help of a video surveillance camera installed in a non -residential room.
In early February 2024, they were detained by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. In relation to the defendants, they initiated affairs under Part 1 of Art. 30, p. «B» of part 3 of article 205 of the Criminal Code (preparation for a terrorist act), Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, carrying, transportation of explosives and explosive devices). Bodnar and Shevchenko entered into a pre -trial agreement on cooperation.
