From January 13 to 14 we traditionally celebrate the New Year according to the old style. This holiday is an occasion to get together once again and listen to beautiful music. For example, at concerts that are being prepared in Crimea. They will take place in Yalta, Simferopol and Sevastopol. Some will be free. In 2024, the old New Year falls on a weekend. And the concerts in honor of this holiday will stretch over three days — from January 12 to 14. Tourist portal of Crimea tells where they will be.
Concert “Orchestra. 2024″: January 12-14, Yalta, Sevastopol, Simferopol. During the celebration of the old New Year, the Crimean Academic Symphony Orchestra will perform light, sparkling music by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár, Jacques Offenbach and other composers. Honored artists of the Republic of Crimea Arzy Medzhidova and Anna Glushko, laureate of international competitions, graduate of the Vishnevskaya School of Opera Singing Georg Ennaris will sing. The program will involve the patron saint of 2024 – the dragon. His appearance on stage will be the culmination of the festive event. Concert «New Year’s festivities»: January 13, Yalta, Livadia village, st. Baturina, 44a, Livadia Palace. Artists of the Yalta branch of the Crimean State Philharmonic will create a festive mood here: People’s Artist of Ukraine Marina Semyonova, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Crimea Nazim Amedov, laureates of international competitions Alena Gutsalenko and Victoria Lunyakina. Honored Artist of Crimea Valentina Trikoz will play the piano. The concert will start at 12:00. Admission is free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Concert “A carol has come to you”: January 13, Sevastopol, st. Lenina, 25, Center for Culture and Arts. The musical event will be attended by the honored folk art group “Rus” named after. Savchenkova and his folk song studio, as well as the folk ensemble “Play Harmony!” All groups are from Sevastopol. They will perform carols that were sung in Rus’ on the eve of the old New Year. Visitors will not only hear our folklore heritage, but will also see ancient rituals — they will be recreated at the concert. Starts at 13:00. Free admission.
Concert “Waiting for a Miracle”: January 13, Yalta, st. Ekaterininskaya, 13, theater named after. Chekhov. This event will be a great opportunity to spend time with your family. The atmosphere of a New Year’s fairy tale will be created by laureates of international competitions and festivals, soloists of the Crimean Concert Association: Yakov Golovko, who is called the Crimean Frank Sinatra, soprano Marina German and pianist Alfiya Temirbulatova. Guests of the program will be laureate of international competitions Nika Ogneva and the Yalta classical dance ensemble «Fouette». The concert will feature famous winter melodies by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Evgeny Krylatov, Gennady Gladkov, Alexey Rybnikov and other composers. The event starts at 15:00. Tickets are on sale here. Concert «New Year’s Vernissage»: January 13, Sevastopol, st. Rabochaya, 2, cultural complex «Korabel». This will be a solo concert by the Honored Artist of Ukraine and Sevastopol Tatyana Bartkova. She will be joined by laureate of international competitions Rafik Asadov and soloist of “Korabel” Natalia Ioffe. The exemplary dance ensemble “Ultramarine”, the exemplary pop dance ensemble “Impulse” and the instrumental ensemble “Capriccio” will perform their numbers.
