This year, work was completed in the Old Town of Alupka and on one of the best urban routes in the country, “Little Jerusalem” in Yevpatoria. The work took place under the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”. Also, by the end of 2024, it is planned to complete the comprehensive arrangement of the tourist center of Feodosia “Feodosia Uyezd” — the subsidy for this work will be 143.5 million rubles. In Feodosia, the 60 Years of October Square on Aivazovsky Avenue will be improved: an interactive recreation area will be installed, a light and music fountain and rotundas will be installed, and a barrier-free environment will be created for people with limited mobility. Additionally, funds have been allocated from the republican budget for the installation of a commemorative stele “City of Military Glory” in Feodosia.
The area of the Old City is called Little Jerusalem — this is the medieval part of Yevpatoria, which was previously the Turkish fortress of Gezlev. All the most significant objects are collected into one unique tourist route — “Little Jerusalem”, which also includes a number of active religious sites.
