The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk spoke about this during a live broadcast organized by the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea.
We now have olive gardens, which are grown both in greenhouses and in open ground. Entrepreneurs are also involved in kiwi production and trout breeding.“, the minister emphasized.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture clarified that under the Agrostartup state program, Crimean farmers are also proposing projects to create industries that are atypical for the region.
One example of an agricultural startup this year is a snail breeding enterprise. The entrepreneur plans to supply them to restaurants, as well as to the production of cosmetics.— said Andrey Savchuk.
