The work of the central event of the forum — the scientific and practical conference «Children’s Movement of Russia: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow» — was opened by Natalia Agre, Director of the Institute of Education of the Russian Academy of Education, member of the Public Chamber Russian Federation, member of the Coordinating Council under the Government of the Russian Federation for the Decade of Childhood in the Russian Federation.
Today we have gathered for an event that should lay the foundation for how we will raise our children. And for this, it is important today to hear not only the opinions of experts, but also to gather practices from all regions of the Russian Federation: to talk with teachers, educators, counselors and the children themselves. Education is a collective, state work. Therefore, today it is very important to gather a large education community , she noted.

Right now the time is coming when it is possible to bring educational work, the work of children’s movements in our country to a qualitatively new level. There was an understanding of the state, an understanding of the community of teachers and educators, the need of society as a whole. The accumulated experience and opportunities that are opening up today — all this together definitely gives us the opportunity to make a qualitative leap in the organization of the children’s movement in our country, and I think that your forum will be an important starting platform and starting point for organizing all this work.
The program of the second day of the forum also included an immersive exhibition, which allowed the children to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the pioneer movement, and educational formats of work — trend sessions and foresight sessions dedicated to the development of children’s organizations.
