On Constitution Day, Mikhail Razvozhaev presented passports to participants of the “First Movement”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On Constitution Day, December 12, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev presented the participants of the “First Movement” with passports of citizens of the Russian Federation. The ceremony took place in the city government.
Today the Russian Constitution is 30 years old. This is the main document for all of us. Three years ago, a historic event took place: Russians voted for amendments to the Constitution, which determined the vectors of development of our country. For us, residents of Sevastopol, it is very important that the new edition of the Constitution secured the unity and indivisibility of the territories of our country — this means that our city will forever remain with Russia. When you grow up, you will receive the right to vote and will also be able to participate in fateful events. And today I congratulate you all on the fact that you are receiving your most important document in life — a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. It is a great honor for me to present it to you today, on Constitution Day. I hope this will be a significant event for you too.— the head of the city addressed the children.
Mikhail Razvozhaev presented passports to 16 students of Sevastopol schools. All of them are members of the city branch of the First Movement.
The movement is implementing the all-Russian program “We are Citizens of Russia” — this is a solemn ceremony of presenting passports to 14-year-old children who have achievements in education and science, culture and sports, and public life.
The first passports were awarded on May 19, the Day of Children’s Public Associations.
In total, this year 116 Sevastopol schoolchildren and activists of the “First Movement” received their first passports.
After the solemn ceremony, the meeting participants moved on to the informal part.
During a tea party with the governor, the children talked about their successes, dreams and plans for adulthood. We talked a lot about teachers and mentors: the guys told how their elders help them realize their ideas and discover their talents.
