It should be noted that the Chernorechenskoye reservoir is fairly filled this year — it has about 47 million cubic meters of fresh water.

First of all, I want to congratulate all Sevastopol residents on the bright holiday of the Epiphany! Looking at our reservoir, we are optimistic that even if it stops replenishing at all, then today’s reserve will be enough for more than 100 days of full consumption of Sevastopol. But you know that we now have all the necessary regulatory tools, so even if there is less revenue in the spring, we will use additional sources, including from our water intake at Belbek. Although this year nothing says that the inflow will be less , — said Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The governor also noted that for the third year in a row a water saving program has been implemented in Sevastopol, and main water pipelines are being changed in the city. This year, about large objects will be made, this will make it possible to reduce water losses even more.
