The best start to the year is sports. On January 1 of the new year 2024, Sevastopol residents held a promise race and took part in exercises.
Residents of the Hero City started the New Year with sports. This is a good start, and we hope that throughout the year Sevastopol residents will remain active participants in sporting events– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the sports department Sergei Reznichenko.
The exercise took place on Nakhimov Square at 11:00. Sevastopol residents performed exercises with music and under the guidance of a trainer. At 12:00 the race of promises started from the square of the 300th anniversary of the Russian fleet. The goal of the race is not time or speed. Residents of the city were running not to the finish line, but to the fulfillment of a wish that they had written before the start. Anyone: run a marathon, learn English, learn to swim, plant a tree, or even buy an apartment.
