On January 7, on Christmas Day, two religious processions will be held in Sevastopol

With the blessing of Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, on January 7, the feast of the Nativity of Christ, a traditional Christmas procession from the Intercession Cathedral to the Count’s pier will take place in Sevastopol, where a thanksgiving prayer service will be held.
According to the press service of the Sevastopol Deanery, the procession begins at 11:30. Beginning of the prayer service: 12:00.
Route: Holy Intercession Cathedral (B. Morskaya St., 36) – st. Bolshaya Morskaya — pl. Lazarev — Nakhimov Ave. — pl. Nakhimov — a platform near the colonnade of the Count’s pier.
Also on the Feast of the Nativity of Christ, a religious procession will take place on the North side of Sevastopol.
The religious procession will end with a prayer service on the site in front of the Moryak cinema. Then there will be hot tea and refreshments, and after that there will be a free showing of cartoons and a Christmas-themed film for children and adultsnotes the press service of the Sevastopol Deanery.
Procession route: St. Nicholas Church at the Brotherhood Cemetery on the North Side (Bogdanova St., 43) – st. Bogdanova — st. Chelyuskintsev – area in front of the “Moryak” cinema (Levanevskogo St., 27). Start of movement at 11:30.
