On the eve of International Women’s Day — March 8, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev presented state awards, commendations and letters of thanks.
Sevastopol was founded 240 years ago by the great woman Catherine II. You know, this is not the first time I am talking about this, but it seems to me that her strength and character were passed on to many generations of Sevastopol women. Sevastopol can live and develop in peace, because there are you — strong and beautiful women, you always support your men, give them warmth, affection and care. In this difficult time, I want to wish you all wisdom, family warmth, health, confidence. We will surely overcome all adversity— Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev addressed the participants of the solemn ceremony.
For a great contribution to the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful activity, the honorary title «Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation» was awarded to the deputy director of the «Sevastopol Art Museum named after Mikhail Pavlovich Kroshitsky» Lyudmila Smirnova. For many years of conscientious work, high professionalism, significant contribution to the development and improvement of the quality of education, the honorary title of the city of Sevastopol «Honored Educator of the City of Sevastopol» was awarded to the director of the «Sevastopol Architectural and Civil Engineering College» Irina Pyanikina. For many years of conscientious work, a significant personal contribution to the development and improvement of the work of state bodies of Sevastopol, the honorary title of the city of Sevastopol «Honored Worker of the State Civil Service of the City of Sevastopol» was awarded to the State Councilor of the city of Sevastopol, 1st class Tatyana Aliyeva.
You are unique individuals who can make this world better, cleaner, brighter. It is you who personify modern Russia: strong, bright, beautiful, generous and independent. With you, for you, in your name, we are ready to expand horizons, conquer steep peaks and make new discoveries. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your boundless responsiveness and spiritual generosity. In this difficult year for the country, our weaker sex has shown true strength. Women doctors go straight to the front lines, women volunteers collect humanitarian aid, do things that are necessary for the fighters with their own hands, the wives and mothers of the military carry their heavy burden with dignity— said the speaker of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev.
For selfless work and significant contribution to the provision of medical care to the population of the city of Sevastopol, the Dasha Sevastopolskaya medal was awarded to: Galina Atanasova, Yulia Vorobyova, Olga Komaristova and Tatyana Polyakova.
Honorary diploma of the Government of Sevastopol was awarded to: teacher of Russian language and literature of school No. 30 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union G.A. Rubtsova Lyudmila Glukh, defectologist at kindergarten No. 30 Irina Zakrevskaya, teacher of physical education at school No. 37 named after Hero of the Soviet Union S.A. Neustroeva Julia Tkachuk.
37 people were also awarded the governor’s commendation, among them military personnel, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 32 people were awarded diplomas, thanks and letters of thanks from the Legislative Assembly.
