On November 24, the Crimean arm wrestling championship will be announced in Simferopol

The competition is held as a personal-team competition in a standing position with the right and left hand according to the current rules with elimination after two defeats. The strongest will be determined both among adult athletes (men and women) and among juniors 14-15, 16-18 and 19-21 years old (26 weight categories in total). Participants with PODA will compete separately— reports «Crimean sport».

Awards (medals, diplomas) will be received not only by the winners and prize-winners in each weight category according to the double-event system (based on the highest amount of points scored in wrestling with both left and right hands), but also for each individual hand.

The winners and runners-up in the team competition will receive special cups.

The competition is held by the Arm Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Crimea with the assistance of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic.

The opening of the competition is at 10.30, immediately after the end — the starting fights.
