On October 7, Pregnant Day was celebrated in Crimea

On this day, a ceremonial discharge of the babies and festive concerts took place in medical institutions.

For example, in Simferopol Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 1, to the sounds of live music by a cellist duet, each visitor was greeted by a mime and given pleasant gifts with wishes.

Tours of the institutions were held at the Simferopol Central Regional Clinical Hospital and the Evpatoria Maternity Hospital. The meeting participants discussed important issues about the health of expectant mothers and their babies, and also received useful recommendations and practical advice from experienced specialists.

At the Sudak City Hospital, women were congratulated with a festive concert, each pregnant woman was not left without attention, receiving a memorable gift, and a drawing of valuable prizes was also held. As part of the event, expectant mothers were informed about social support measures for pregnant women and women with children.

Employees of the Saki City Hospital, with the assistance of the local administration, also organized a festive event in the cultural center. For families, we prepared a festive photo zone, an entertainment program for children, a photo exhibition of pregnant women and children’s drawings about the family. The most touching moment of the event was the summing up of the results of the “Letter to a Child” competition among pregnant women. Each participant in the competition was not left without a gift. At the same time, a lottery was held with the presentation of charitable gifts from individual entrepreneurs.

In other maternity hospitals and departments of Crimea, meetings with expectant mothers, master classes and lectures on breastfeeding, child care, postpartum recovery, psychological development and parenting were also held.

Let us recall that in order to popularize state policy in the field of family protection and the preservation of traditional family values, 2024, according to the decree of the President of Russia, has been declared the Year of the Family.
