As we already reported, on Saturday, October 21, a thanksgiving prayer service will be held at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral of Simferopol on the occasion of the solemn meeting of the newly appointed Head of the Crimean Metropolis, His Eminence Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea. According to the press service Crimean Metropolis, adjustments are possible regarding the start time of the ceremony. As of today, it is one o’clock in the afternoon (not 12:00 as previously reported).

The next day (Sunday, October 22), in the same Alexander Nevsky Cathedral of Simferopol, the first Divine Liturgy of the Ruling Bishop of the Simferopol and Crimean Diocese, Head of the Crimean Metropolis, Metropolitan Tikhon (Shevkunov), will take place. And this will be his first service in a new place.
