What payments and benefits are available to military personnel and SVO participants through the Social Fund of Russia?

Military personnel who participated in a special military operation in Ukraine (SVO) as mobilized, volunteers and contract soldiers are entitled to state benefits and payments. Support measures are also provided to their families.

Thus, the period of participation in the SVO is counted towards the length of service at double the rate, and for one full calendar year of participation in the SVO zone during military service or while in a volunteer formation, 3.6 pension coefficients are taken into account. For other citizens, this is 1.8 coefficients for their future pension.

In addition, periods of participation in a special military operation are taken into account at double the rate when assigning a pension for long service. That is, you can retire 2 years earlier than retirement age.

In addition to all the benefits, fighters receive a monthly cash payment of 3,896 rubles as combat veterans. To receive this support measure, applicants can submit documents entitling them to payment to the customer services of the Financial Markets Service Branch for the Republic of Crimea. The monthly cash payment also includes a set of social services. Applicants are given the choice of receiving a set of social services in kind or in cash. It includes: compensation for medications, free travel to and from the place of treatment, and a voucher for treatment.

In the event of injury or injury, SVO volunteers are provided with a state disability pension. Families of volunteers are granted the right to a survivor’s pension for disabled members of their families in the event of death during and at the end of the citizens’ stay in volunteer formations.

OSFR in the Republic of Crimea also provides support measures to the families of citizens called up for military service upon mobilization. For them, the assignment of child benefits has been simplified, which are issued without taking into account the income of the mobilized citizen.
