Three cars were stuck in snow drifts at 26 km and in the area of Okhotnichy village on the Yalta-Bakhchisarai highway, as well as in the area of the Kolan-Bair peak on Dolgorukovskaya Yaila. Despite warnings from rescuers about worsening weather conditions over the past weekend, some motorists still ignored safety rules.,” stated the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
On Sunday evening, the rescue service received three reports that 3 cars were stuck in snow drifts on the road to the Ai-Petri plateau and in the area of the Kolan-Bair peak. Due to the darkness and low air temperature, the help of rescuers is required.
At the signal, employees of the Bakhchisarai, Simferopol and Yalta emergency rescue teams of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS» left to provide assistance to people. Upon arrival, rescuers using all-terrain vehicles, entrenching tools and rigging equipment evacuated the vehicles from the snowdrifts. No one needed medical care— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
