On July 28, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus’ and the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, a religious procession will be held in Sevastopol from the monument to the Holy Prince Vladimir to St. Vladimir’s Cathedral in Chersonese. This is a significant event that unites believers and adherents of the historical heritage of Prince Vladimir, who plays a key role in the history of Russia and Orthodox Christianity.

The time of the procession is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:00, so that participants can reconnect with spiritual history and pay tribute to the holy ruler. This event will be a reminder of the significance of his feat, when he adopted Christianity as the state religion and contributed to the baptism of Rus’.

The path of the procession will start from the monument of St. Prince Vladimir and move towards the St. Vladimir Cathedral in Chersonese, a shrine that is of particular importance to believers and historians. Interaction with places of spiritual and historical significance gives this event a special symbolism and significance.

To ensure the safety of the participants in the procession, temporary restrictions will be introduced on the section of Eroshenko Street from the monument to the Holy Prince Vladimir to Ancient Street, 22.
