On the basis of the RKB named after N. A. Semashko operates the Center for Diagnostics and Treatment of Critical Ischemia of the lower extremities

According to her, the main function of the Center is the organization of the phased provision of specialized, including high -tech, medical care for patients with the indicated pathology in the medical organizations of Crimea in accordance with the developed routing.

Specialists of the Center provide organizational and methodological support of district and city hospitals in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with critical ischemia of the lower extremities. Republican doctors advise colleagues through telemedicine technologies. They also oversee the work aimed at the early detection and selection of patients in need of specialized treatment both in Crimea and beyond,-said Deputy Prime Minister.

The structure of the center includes an outpatient clinic of a cardiovascular surgeon, a department of vascular surgery, a department of X-rayendovascular methods of diagnosis and treatment, as well as the department of anesthesiology and resuscitation of the RCB named after N. A. Semashko.

Patients with critical ischemia of the lower extremities after diagnosis in the presence of indications are performed by open revascular surgery, or minimally invasive radiographic treatment methods (balon angioplasty, stenting). So, from the moment the center was created, the doctors have completed 29 x -rayedovascular interventions and 25 open revascular operations. After surgical treatment, patients are observed in medical organizations at the place of residence.

Doctors of the created center also keep a personified record of all patients with critical ischemia of the lower extremities and provide control over the organization of dynamic observation of this group of patients, — Notes Elena Romanovskaya.
