A mortar mine from the times of the Great Patriotic War was lifted from the bottom of the Soldatsky beach in Sevastopol by employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Information about the discovery of an object similar to an explosive was received by the operational duty shift from vacationers on June 28. Divers of the emergency department immediately moved to the place.
After examining the bottom, 20 meters from the shore at a depth of 7 meters, experts found ammunition and brought it to land. Subsequently, it was identified as a Soviet-made 82 mm mortar mine. Her condition allowed transportation.
