On the beaches of Sevastopol, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and volunteers carry out preventive work
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Sevastopol rescuers of the EMERCOM of Russia, together with volunteers from the National Center for Assistance to Missing and Injured Children, conducted a safety lesson for young vacationers on the Soldatsky beach.
The swimming season in our region is coming to an end, but has not yet been completed, therefore, experts continue to work to improve the level of safety culture of citizens vacationing on water bodies. For the youngest guests of the beach, volunteers prepared useful gifts — inflatable rings and armlets, so that children can learn to swim safely. Adults were not ignored either: they were given leaflets on the rules of behavior on the water and were reminded of the need to swim only in equipped areas.— noted in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol.
Joint work of the Sevastopol Emergency Department with representatives of the National Center is carried out on a regular basis. So, in June, we successfully held a children’s drawing competition “Near the water — no trouble!”. Within its framework, in the format of a master class from coaches, the children mastered swimming techniques in practice, participated in a safety lesson and educational quests. Preventive measures on Sevastopol beaches will continue until the end of the swimming season.
