On the birthday of Sevastopol, music was played at sunset in Chersonesos
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On June 14, in the museum-reserve one could hear an open-air concert: “Music at Sunset” was a gift from Chersonese for the Day of the City of Sevastopol.
Many guests gathered near the observation deck on the northern shore. A warm summer evening, sea breeze and rays of the setting sun created a magical and peaceful atmosphere in Chersonesos, which allowed everyone to tune in to the music of the ancient city. Visitors enjoyed sitting on blankets or ottomans and listening to popular and original melodies performed by Maxim Perov. The performance was timed to coincide with the Foundation Day of Sevastopol.
History is loved and respected in our city, so this holiday is one of the most significant. It unites people who love Sevastopol and are proud of it, all who work for its benefit, preserve and enhance centuries-old traditions. As a gift to the city and its residents, the museum-reserve organized the “Music at Sunset” concert. I am sure that our new venue will become a permanent venue for creative meetings and concerts in Tauride Chersonese!, – the press service quotes the director of the museum-reserve Elena Morozova.
