On the border of the Crimea with the Kherson region, cars are inspected using a scanner
Krympress reports:
Almost 100 thousand cars passed scanning at the checkpoints of Dzhanka and Armenian on the border of Crimea with the Kherson region since April 2025. This was reported in the Ministry of Transport of Russia.
The ministry said that modern stream inspection and inspection complexes allow you to check the transport without the driver’s exit from the car. Scanning is performed continuously, does not require stopping movement and is completely safe for a person.
As a result, the time of checking cars was reduced by five times. This is especially important in the peak tourist season— emphasized in the Ministry of Transport.
If the system does not fix the risks and signs of transportation of prohibited objects, then the physical search is not carried out, they added in the profile ministry.
Scanners at the checkpoints in Dzhankoy and Armyansk Installed In April this year. Then the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation said that the same complexes may appear at the checkpoints on the border of the Rostov Region and the DPR.
