On the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland, an office of the organization «Children of War» was opened in Sevastopol

The event was attended by Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Yevgeny Dubovik, Chairman of the regional organization «Children of War Sevastopol» Anna Tsysar.

At one of our meetings, Anna Fedorovna Tsysar said that they did not have a suitable room. Naturally, this should not be so, and today we are correcting the omissions of the past. A rare case when it was possible to make repairs at the expense of caring people who, having learned about the needs, put everything in order. It’s great that the center is open precisely on the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland, and veterans have a place where to gather both on holidays and on weekdays , the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the governor.

The organization, headed by Anna Tsysar, unites about 6 thousand citizens of the «Children of War» category.

In 2022 year, the premises located at: st. Lenin, 64, with a total area of ​​102 sq.m, was transferred by the Government for the use of the Sevastopol regional public organization «Children of the War of Sevastopol».

Here, for all Sevastopol veterans, regardless of whether they are children of the war or combatants, Afghans or Chernobyl victims, a center of public organization is open. Today is the anniversary of this organization, today is the Day of the Heroes of the Fatherland, and the deputies, together with the governor, congratulate the veterans , says Evgeny Dubovik.

Currently, members of the veterans’ organization are actively working on the design of the museum’s exposition.
