On the east coast, in the village of Morskoye, the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities has been completed

In the village of Morskoye (Sudak urban district), work has been completed on the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities with a capacity of 1,500 cubic meters per day.
The Ministry of Housing Policy and State Construction Supervision of the Republic of Crimea issued a conclusion on the conformity of the completed construction project. As of the current date, commissioning activities are being carried out. The facility was implemented within the framework of the State program of the Russian Federation “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol”. The cost of reconstruction of the facility according to the concluded government contract is 416 million rubles— reported the Republican Ministry of Construction.
Sewage treatment facilities are designed to receive and treat wastewater coming from the village of Morskoye, with subsequent discharge of treated wastewater into the Shelen River.
Reconstruction of sewerage treatment facilities will allow:
- ensure the use of modern wastewater treatment technologies;
- bringing the quality indicators of the cleaning and disinfection process to the required parameters;
- minimizing the harmful effects of the cleaning process and its waste on the environment;
- sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population in accordance with the regulatory framework of the Russian Federation;
- eliminating pollution of the Black Sea coast in resort areas.
