On May 5, representatives of student detachments of the Republic of Crimea, as part of the Republican Patriotic campaign “The Troops of the Victory of the North Ossetia”, cleaned the territories of the memorial to the victims of the fascist occupation of Crimea 1941-1944. «The concentration camp» Red «in the village. Participants in the labor landing dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 removed the territories of the “decisions of death” from fallen foliage and dry branches from red-leaved maples, which were planted in the square and along its perimeter, as a symbol of flame in which the bodies of prisoners were taken. A memorial complex is a tribute to more than 15 thousand prisoners of a concentration camp, brutally destroyed by fascists and their accomplices. Since 2011, a memorable place has been a symbol of sorrow and a reminder of the terrible price that our people paid for a great victory.

Today we visited the village of Mirny, where the memorial is located in memory of the victims of the “concentration camp” Red. ” The Great Patriotic War did not bypass a single family: each of them has its own heroes, whose exploits and victims will forever remain in memory. Work in such significant places reminds us of the importance of preserving historical memory.
