On the fact of an accident near Sevastopol, in which five girls were killed, a criminal case has been instituted

Investigators of the Sevastopol Interdistrict Investigative Hotel work on the site of a traffic accident in the village of Verkhnesadovaya in the area of ​​the village of Verkhnesadovaya in order to establish the causes and circumstances of the tragedy that took the lives of five girls, including a minor.

It was preliminarily established that this afternoon, at the Simferopol-Bakhchisarai-Sevastopol highway, when leaving the village of Verkhnesadova, an 18-year-old girl who was driving a VAZ car did not give way to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus under the control of the 45-year-old driver. As a result of a clash at the site of the tragedy, four passengers of passenger cars aged 17 to 19 years died. The 18-year-old VAZ driver was hospitalized in the hospital, where she died. The driver of the minibus was provided on the spot.

In connection with a wide public resonance and a large number of victims, including a minor, head of the Main Investigation Department of the IC of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol V.N. Terentyev instructed to initiate a criminal case under part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — “Violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles that entailed the death of two or more persons”, to conduct a set of investigative actions with the appointment of all necessary examinations.
