On the roads of Crimea, state traffic inspectors conduct preventive conversations with motorcycle drivers
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In order to prevent road accidents involving drivers of motor vehicles (motorcycles, scooters, mopeds), as part of the preventive measure «Motorcyclist!», On July 4, on the Simferopol-Yevpatoriya highway, Simferopol District, employees of the State traffic inspectorate held preventive conversations with motor vehicle drivers.
As part of the prevention, police officers urged motorcyclists to be extremely careful on the roads, correctly assess the traffic situation, not exceed the speed limit, avoid risky and sudden maneuvers and use not only a motorcycle helmet, which is mandatory under the Rules of the Road, but also full protective equipment.
The main causes of traffic accidents involving motorized transport drivers remain: speeding, driving along the dividing lane dividing traffic flows, violation of the rules of rebuilding, the order of passage of intersections and non-observance of the distance. In addition, drivers and passengers of motorcycles are the most vulnerable road users, because, unlike owners of four-wheeled vehicles, motorcyclists can be seriously injured even in the event of a small accident, and in the absence of a protective motorcycle helmet, they can be seriously injured.— said the traffic police.
Each motorized transport driver was given propaganda leaflets about strict observance of traffic rules.
