Employees of the State traffic inspectorate of Sevastopol continue to identify drunk drivers on the roads. Last weekend, another raid «Drunk Driver» took place in the city, aimed at preventing traffic violations related to driving while intoxicated.
As part of a preventive measure, employees of the State traffic inspectorate stopped drivers to check their condition, and also held explanatory conversations about the dangers of drunk driving and the responsibility for driving while intoxicated— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
During the event, traffic inspectors identified and excluded 13 drivers from the traffic process, one of whom had previously been subjected to administrative punishment for drunk driving. With regard to the offender, materials were compiled on the grounds of a crime under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Driving a vehicle while intoxicated by a person subjected to administrative punishment.»
In total, since the beginning of this year in Sevastopol, employees of the State traffic inspectorate have identified 780 drivers in a state of intoxication, of which 82 got behind the wheel drunk again.
