On the territory of the Southern Military District, six autonomous camps for mobilized

Specialists of the Department of Operational Maintenance and Provision of Public Services for Military Units and Organizations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Central Housing and Communal Administration» of the Ministry of Defense for the Southern Military District (SMD) organized work to provide public services and accommodation in autonomous field camps (APL-500) mobilized citizens.

Providing comfortable conditions for the stay of mobilized citizens is currently one of the most important tasks of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The deployment of camps directly at the training ground allows reducing the time for the arrival of reservists to the places of training and combat coordination, increasing the time for rest, recuperation, assessment of the past day and preparation for the next training day.

Fulfilling the task of accommodating mobilized citizens, 6 autonomous camps have been prepared in the Southern Military District. The formed brigades of the branch of the FSBI «TsZhKU» of the Ministry of Defense of Russia for the Southern Military District, together with the OESiOKU, carry out maintenance and disposal of household waste , — said Vladimir Kuznetsov, Acting Head of the branch of the FSBI «TsZhKU» of the Ministry of Defense of Russia for the Southern Military District.

The APL-500 field camp is a town of a closed life support cycle when deploying military formations of up to 500 people, it allows you to create comfortable conditions for military personnel at the training ground. The tent city consists of more than 30 tents, the outer lining of which is made of PVC, inside — a warming layer of holofiber and a foil layer to keep warm or cool. On top of the tent — a sun awning, plastic windows.

All tent rooms are equipped with autonomous systems for maintaining the set temperature in the winter and summer seasons (heating and air conditioning), modern high-tech modular elements of water supply and sanitation, toilets and showers, water treatment and water treatment systems (hot water supply), cooking and eating areas , medical support and consumer services.
